It was in his first year in Teacher university

that Chris de Feijter (pronounce as: the fighter) became interested in children with learning difficulties. After he took a course in Reading Disabilities, his University Professor advised him to specialize in Special Educational Needs. He took his Professors advice and found it to be a real passionate adventure.

Chris received his Bachelor of Education and his  Master of Education (in Educational Psychology and Special Educational Needs) from universities in Europe. He specialised in treating learning disorders, behaviour disorders and especially in educating children with Autism.

After University, Chris worked in his own private practise for several years, where he diagnosed and treated 100s of children with dyslexia, ADHD and Autism.

Next to his practise, Chris has worked as an Educator in Elementary and Secondary schools in Europe and Canada. He worked in the regular classroom, counselled students with challenged behaviours and worked in school administration.

Chris currently works as a Special Educational Needs Consultant for a large school division in Canada.
